Overview
Upper Mustang Trekking moves forth the barren moonscape of eroded sandstone columns and sporadic moraine landscapes. Upper Mustang Trekking has so much to offer to the prospective trekkers. Thousand years old monastery, the fortified wall, the four storey palace in Lomanthang, caves, native tribes and kaleidoscopic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna and Dhawalagiri Mountains and getting surrounded by more than 35 mountains over 6000m high are the sneak peaks of Upper Mustang Trek.
The course passes through as varied topographical structures as the world’s deepest gorge in Kali Gandaki to world’s highest regions of Lo- Manthang Valley. Upper Mustang Trek is a Restricted Area Trekking which requires a special permit from department of immigration to travel through. Permits restrict the visitor to a visit on 10-13 groups (2-14 people maximum). The valley experiences roaring wind during daytime which gets calmer throughout the night.
All in all, Upper Mustang Trek will take you through out of the world experience which will remain imprinted in your memories throughout your life.

Day 02: Sightseeing to Swayambhunath, Kathmandu and Patan
Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Pokhara (850m)
Day 04: Pokhara flight to Jomsom (2713m) then trek to Kagbeni (2800m)
Day 05: Kagbeni trek to Chele (3060m)
Day 06: Chele trek to Shyangbochen (3800)
Day 07: Shyangbochen trek to Ghami (3520m)
Day 08: Ghami trek to Tsarang / Charang (3560m)
Day 09: Charang to Lo-Manthang (3810m)
Day 10: Explore around Lo-Mangthang (3810m)
Day 11: Lo-Manthang trek to Drakmar (3820m)
Day 12: Dhakmar trek to Geling/ Ghiling (3570m)
Day 13: Geling trek to Chhuksang (2980m)
Day 14: Chhuksang trek to Jomsom (2720m)
Day 15: Jomsom Flight to Pokhara (850m)
Day 16: Pokhara drive to Kathmandu (1350m)
Day 17: Sightseeing to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur
